Creating a space for Mums to come together and feel like they matter.
Being a Mum is so much more than just caring for your children. It is a full time job. Making sure everyone is fed, washed, clothed and happy is just the basics. The constant load that Mums face, the appointments, the cleaning up, the school clubs, the birthday parties, the projects (the list goes on) and the endless needs to be met can be taxing on the body and mind.
I have created a space where Mums can come together and return to self. No children, nobody else needing them, just time for them to switch off in an environment where they can be held, heard and nurtured just as they do for others. It will be an opportunity to connect with other Mums who are in the same boat and share stories, laugh, cry, or just simply reset the mind..
Being a Mum does not mean that you should lose yourself and your identity. In order to show up as a better parent you need to show yourself the same kind of conditional love that you do your children. Caring for your mind and body should be a priority. If you do this, your children will follow suit. It’s not just about time out from your children, it’s about showing them that it’s ok to love yourself and set boundaries when it comes to self-care.
from yoga and sauna, to hiking and exploring. I want all Mums to feel welcomed and part of something meaningful. There are lots of exciting things lined up that I can’t wait to share!
